GIRA FOODSERVICE Databases and DirectoriesOur databases and directories are intended to be operational tools that enable all types of suppliers to the foodservice market to distribute their products more effectively, either by making a direct approach to individual foodservice outlets or by increasing their knowledge of the mechanisms of the relevant distribution network for their product. These reports are currently available only for the French market, where they cover two areas : Databases of Social Foodservice Establishments:With a coverage of over 40 000 establishments, these databases help our clients to optimise the distribution of their products and services, by identifying new prospects and by giving them the means to have greater control over their sales force. The databases classify the foodservice establishments by a range of criteria (region, size of the restaurant, type of management …) and cover 20 segments of the social foodservice market under 3 broad headings : Directories of Foodservice Distributors : These consist of detailed profiles of the main players in the fiel of distribution to the foodservice market, classified by type of distributor and by product group. Around 12 directories, covering more than 3 000 distributors, are regularly updated :
